Welcome to the Florida Council of Churches web site ... Promoting Unity ... Celebrating Diversity!

The website is currently undergoing major revision, so please "pardon our dust."

The Florida Council is dedicated to manifesting the unity which Christ has given the Church toward solidarity with all of humanity. Early in recorded history, God calls Abaham to become a blessing for all families upon the earth.  The Apostle Paul says that Christ dies once for all. Peter declares that all who are just are acceptable to God. Jesus prays that his discples might be one so that the world may believe that God sent him. He teaches us even as the Hebrew scriptures do that we are to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul and will, and each other as we do ourselves.

The unity of faithful Christians and the well-being of the human race go together. The Florida Council of Churches seeks both one and the other -- to the glory of God and the honor of Christ Jesus.
