God gives us unity in Christ. As the baptized receive the gift of unity, the Spirit works reconciling power in the Church for healing the world.
The Council's network of churches includes nearly a million Floridians in some 2300 congregations lifting up the Gospel across Florida.
Gathered by the life-giving Spirit and shaped by the cross of Christ, the church proclaims hope through Jesus and pursues God's justice for all.
The Florida Council is a catalyst for realizing the unity which Christ has given the Church, a unity that leads to solidarity with all of humanity.
